most days it seems like the only way to succeed at being an artist or poet is to be very wealthy, which i am not. most literary magazines now have paywalls too. the art world is becoming more and more inaccessible to people who are not uber rich. (ie. no i do not have $5 to submit each to a bajillion magazines i’ve never heard of)
