i figure, i have so many people supporting me constantly, why not share the beautiful writing that inspires me? here are some poets that i have consistently vibed with.

• benjamin hertwig, and more specifically his poem “for the rat behind the fridge”, (i also have his book “slow war,” and it’s excellent)
• grace paley, and more specifically her poem “house: some instructions,” which actually inspired an entire chapbook.
• robyn schiff, and more specifically “a doe replaces iphigenia on the sacrificial altar,” which is literally one of the most beautiful poems i’ve ever read.
• bradley trumpfheller, and more specifically their poem “on fanfiction,” which I deeply love (and they’re a fellow queer poet from texas!).
